The local Sunrise Movement has a big vote coming up, going in front of Orange County decision-makers with the Sunshine Transit Advancement Resolution (STAR) Plan on September 29. They are looking for people to rally around the plan, which you can preview in this episode and on their website.
Leading up to that vote, they are hosting a number of events to prep, and a rally on the 29th at the Orange County Administration Building. A member of the Sunshine Movement team, Giancarlo Rodríguez, came on the show to give an overview of the plan, including funding and next steps.
