Jim Myers is a little like the Wizard of Oz. He is the department head at the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center in the Orlando Public Library, which is easily one of the coolest and most collaborative spaces in town. You don’t always see him there, but you can feel his influence on the people and resources there.
Jim is also a talented musician, singing and playing drums for the Milk Carton Superstars. As most drummers will tell you, they are the most important members of any band, directing traffic and driving the pace of the piece.
Of course, he would never admit to any of this because he’s a wonderful and humble human being. But I will, because he’s great!
